I could not even get through 25 minutes of this piece of garbage. This is not Star Trek and I have no clue what is this is and at this point I don't even care. Michelle Yeoh was the only good thing in Discovery as the first Captain and as Emperor Georgiou. She did a great job as a intimidating villain but in is this crap felt like trying to play a diva drag queen. On the plus side I heard she got a really good pay check (12 Million) and good on her. The support cast was soooooooo lame and predictable. The writer tried to do a Mission Impossible movie but instead of a serious movie they make a goofy movie which was not fun or funny. If they would have stuck to making a serious movie with Ms. Yeoh then might have had a shot at a good movie.
If you like physical thrillers you will ready like this movie.
To me its a bit too long and drags in places and they probably could have cut out 10 to 20 minutes and not really mess up flow of the movie. The last act is pretty wild and fairly realistic on what a normal people would do in this situation.
James McAvoy is a hell of an actor! He can go from incredibly charming to psychotic in a blink of an eye.
He is the best part of this movie and a very under rated actor.
I didn't care much for the husband his character was all over the place and pretty much a wimp but then again that is typical current day writing from a Hollywood movie.
