I've seen the movie from 1922 just before going to the cinema and all I can think about is that with the new movie they made justice to what they couldn't do back then.
What I like: The Nosferatu is more detailed and you can feel him through the screen. You understand what he wants and he feels very real.
All the other actors have depth and their story begin and ends somewhere.
Aside from the good cinematography, I felt like I was in a theater and all the actors and events were there in front of me to feel them.
What I didn't like: I didn't like how Lily-Rose Depp acted in the begining of the movie (remember how I said about theater experience? Well she felt like an amateur trying too much) but that changed going on. She really stands out in the finale and I appreciate her for that.
They removed some parts that I remember from the old movie. They could fit in the new one, so I'm not sure why they skiped them.
The night and day timeframe felt weird. Why did it took him all night to cross the city in the end? It was not New York.
Conclusion: I could tell a lot more but this is some ideas that I could think of now at the end of the movie. It was a good movie and it made justice to the original one. The actors did a great job and the cinematography was good. The movie could feel a little boring or unremarkable on laptop or tv, so please see it in theater to really enjoy it.
