What happened it was so good before season 4. Literally my favourite show but the writers ruined it by introducing so many new characters at the end and not tying up loose ends properly. And they were trying too hard to have m diversity it just looked tokenistic and annoying. It is still incredible like still watch it I love it!! Just shocked at how much worse it got

It's a realistic & relatable portrayal of a toxic mother daughter relationship. I found I could relate a lot to her situation. However I didn't feel like I could immerse myself into the movie, like I got a bit bored for some of it. For a lot of the movie I could tell that it was just acting & I couldn't get into it. I usually enjoy coming of age movies but I didn't really feel connected to the characters. Like in-writing the story sounds sad and I relate so much to her but when i watched it the characters didn't feel real to me for some reason. Just couldn't get into it. Also her mum and Kyle were insufferable in the movie (but I'm aware that's the point)
