First & Foremost, I am a huge fan of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and a comic fan long before the movies. No matter what movie Marvel drops, I will be at the theater on opening day. That said, I am concerned about the future of the MCU after seeing this Captain America - Brave New World. This movie feels like a rushed production that relied on A list actors to carry the story line, and it just made it worse. This movie seems like a filler and character building mess that went over like a lead turd. With the introduction of that special material and the big Red guy, they could have made this a really decent film, but sadly it was a disorganized mess that left me dissatisfied and hoping for more. I'm a loyal fan, I need you to do better Marvel. Stick to the big storylines and hold onto the core characters that we all love for as long as you can.

This film felt like a "Filler Movie" to just create some potential future storylines. I am the exact type of fan that Marvel studios loves, because I go to every single movie (often 2-3 times per film), subscribe to all platforms, and I spend money on ALL of it. As a fan I would typically rate any Marvel film higher on IMDB because I want to see Marvel and the films succeed, but this one I rated a 4... I probably should have rated it a 3. If you went to see this movie and haven't kept up with all of the movies and Disney plus series, you will be scratching your head wondering what is going on. The Marvels is cringey in every possible way... the only part I enjoyed was the post credit scene. Marvel, please do better! As a fan I look forward to the blockbuster films and they have progressively gotten worse over the past 2 years. I wanted to love this movie and I truly was let down.

I learned a bit from watching this film. I thought it was worthwhile to watch, but don't expect to be amazed.
