5 seasons, five separate horror mysteries performed brilliantly.
The show is made up of a fantastic group of actors that reappear in most seasons.
Every time they play something a little different showing a great range in their performances. In each season there is a bloody mystery to solve and with that you have a show to delight any horror fan.
Season 1: The Executioner Following Sarah who returns to the town where her parents where killed and a copycat starts to recreate the horrific murders. 7/10
Season 2: Gulity Party A group of camp counsellors return to the camp where they killed a fellow counsellor only to find themselves stranded and picked off one by one 8/10
Season 3: Solstice.
A man is murdered by "the Druid" but a year later the Druid returns hellbent on killing anyone with any connection to the terrible events before and after the original murder. 10/10
Season 4: Flesh and Blood.
A wealthy family with a ruthless and somewhat evil streak, meet at their private island for a get together were past sins are revealed as they are targeted by a masked killer. 9/10
Season 5. Ripper.
In the 19th century the poor streets in the names 'Devils Corner' are targeted by a Jack The Ripper type killer who's hellbent on bloody revenge. 9/10
So as all seasons cover the mystery element perfectly whilst watching characters you like but quite often despise you are not let down by the graphic kills that are thought up and executed in this brilliant anthology.
Finally a special mention for the outstanding Paula Brancati who absolutely excels in every season.

The series on whole for story telling is average and surprisingly enough for Harlan Coban very predictable.
That said though I think the hype around the writer is why other reviews are negative as people expect brilliance from this type of show.
It's a good show and with obvious flaws, it has two fantastic positives in Adrian Greensmith (Spoon) and Abi Corrigan (Ema). I found the pair of them so interesting, funny and lovable. They carried the show from start to finish by pulling on your every emotion during the journey.
Don't be put off by the negativity but instead go into without expectation and just enjoy the show.

The reviews I read had me fooled into believing this would be one of the many low budget Horror or Sci-Fi films that I adore. How wrong was I?!
The effects were actually very good and the only good thing about this film. Unfortunately as i watched it I found myself caring less and less about what would happen as the characters were so un likeable.
With a fast forward to the near future where technology is more advanced, soldiers are pitted into training exercise against robots. All sounds good...... but unfortunately that's the best part of the slow and laborious story.
A film with a very similar synopsis but executed so much better see Battle Drone (2018)
