Ok, so this movie may not have the biggest budget ever, but you must remember it's a Christmas Movie after all. If you want to grade this movie like you would Citizen Kane or Elf, you're missing the point.
Missing the point of Christmas movies one and all. This one is fun, has some funny puns and classic Christmas fare, and a unique story that you ARE allowed to enjoy, just like you'd enjoy a candy cane or christmas cookie.
Don't be afraid to be a kid for an hour or so.
Just understand this won't be Miracle on 34th Street or Its a Wonderful World, but it's a "Christmas Movie" nonetheless. Sit back and enjoy!

I've been loyal to all the Law and Order series for many years. I was excited to see the Reboot of the original, but I can't handle Hugh Dancy's cocky attitude any more. I've looked the other way since he started, but this season its just been too much. I think his face off vs Captain Benson earlier this season helped solidify for me that it's not just me. There's a significant difference between he and other case members in each series. It's OK for me to leave this one behind while I continue to enjoy the others. I do like other cast members, & would likely come back for any episode that has Camerin reappear, but as long as Dancy is on the cast, I pass.
