What a wonderful tribute to a great, Rock Star, Singer, Actor, Dancer, Composer, Sculpter, Painter, and of course Film Star. But most of all Entertainer.
Thank you to all the production people involved in the production, it was very well put together with lots of clips from his many TV and film apperiances. Including: The Tommy Steel Story, Tommy the Toreador, The Happiest Millionaire, for Disney, Half a Sixpence, a TV special of Tommy dancing with The Great Dancer Gene Kelly, and a film dancing with his dance idol The Great Fred Astair. In Finian's Rainbow,
I have always admired Tommy Steele. Sir Tommy Steele.and after watching this stunning documentary and now know why, he is just a such a likable genious that we only see maybe once in a lifetime.
Seek out am watch this documentary, you will not regret it.

I could not get into this film at all, the cast really tried thair best but after about 45 mins I was wanting it to please end,
I am a great fan of 50's british comedy, but this film was just awfuly directed, it was all over the place, at times never made any sence or was so over the top that it killed any hope of laughs.
It's a shame as the director has done some wonderful work in other departments, but i am not surprised that he only directed on 4 occations.

I feel very sad that a wonderful film like this, with so many incredible things that are so good has only won 1 award, it really makes you think that there is something wrong with the whole system, it has Incredible camera work, fabulous acting throughout, especially from Costner, Duvall and Benning all are superb in there roles, Music was fabulous, Locations were mostly great, also liked the set design. I honestly thought that films were not made like this anymore, An interesting story with great morels handled with great skill and sensitivity by Costner in the directors chair. Please Please Please find time to watch the Classic of American Cinema that's hardly known. I am an Englishman and if there was a film that showed our history like this then I would be proud.
I cant believe it took me till 2020 to watch this gem.
