What a perfect Friday early afternoon flick!! I love it when I find a well-done movie where there's a story with twists, with the three-act story conflicts put in just the right places, and where nobody is preaching to me about whatever social issues are the current Big Whine. If I want a preacher, I know where a nice church is. Just give me a movie where the good guys beat up the bad guys (or bad aliens!) The fact Christopher Meloni is in this movie makes it even better than the current fare of B action flicks. IMHO. My advice to folks who don't like is that they should write a better one, get it made and let me know where I can watch it. Thanks.
Just found out about He Never Died, so I'll hunt that down. When I ran across this on Amazon Prime, I liked the logline. Didn't know who any of the actors were, but I keep an open mind. For about 10 minutes. If the movie can't grab me by then, I close it. This one? Grabbed my attention and never let go. The twists, the questions left hanging (especially the one at the end), the action, the acting...all awesome! I don't like movies that lay it all out for the viewer and this one hit that mark.
I love these shows!! But...only two seasons? Anyway, on this episode on detective is giving another detective some grief about having gone to college in Mississippi instead of Howard University. He says, "You should have went to Howard..."
Okay.
Do they teach English at Howard? :-) :-) :-)
