I went in with little to no expectations. Uknown movie, unknown actors, low score. Yet here I am, writing my first IMDB review because I thoroughly enjoyed this movie. It's definitely not a hollywood movie..
The acting is natural, the humor is witty and not forced, the drama is tactful, in my opinion. The cinematography is refreshing and I really really enjoyed the angles, grading and framing. It's a stark difference from the modern "shove CGI down their throats till they like it" approach. The cinematography conveys a lot and if you can appreciate such things, you will love the movie too.
Overall, nothing remarkable happens and yet, I can't help but want to watch it again and relate again.

Characters are throwing Google search results, based on the situation.
I would have spared the review but something compelled me to write it. Season 3 begins with a trip to Bulgaria, my country. I'd imagine that something as important as a season beginning would involve some research. Here is a summary of their research:
The writers assumed everything west of Italy is the Middle East. Everyone using the Cyrillic alphabet is of russian descent and has a russian name. The country looks like post-war Iraq and the people in it have a strange arabic complexion. Basically the Borat stereotype.
In short, no research, just a bunch of assumptions that speak very poorly of the writers.
That's in a show, trying to be smart and techie. It could have been avoided with a 5min Wikipedia search.
I'm not even going to comment on the rest of the half-assed attempts to be novelty.
