Good production and nice visuals. And I'll try and be optimistic, but I feel like so far they've squandered the potential of the book that is so rich with intrigue, drama, fantastic world building, character development and twists galore. There is so much turmoil in the sisterhood they completely skipped past that rendered the scenes in that opening completely flat. And why are you so afraid of showing the religious aspects of the book??? The movies didn't. Good luck adapting Mentats and Navigators of Dune with the changes you've made if this show ends up being successful.

P. S. That scene in the club with the princess at the end was f stupid.

And this episode unexpectedly just made me weep like a baby.

Felt like the first part from a film series. Production values were insane. Performances, so good. My only problem was with a few of the secondary plot lines. A bit muddy, but will start making sense as the show goes on probably. I'm stoked. Can't wait to watch episode 2.
