A worthy epilogue for one of the most daring feat of human exploration- full of emotion and passion.

For those that were young when the twin missions were launched, our hopes and dreams of a better tomorrow and our childhoods were intertwined with the discoveries and daily updates about this mission.

Thus, pretty much like for those magnificent human beings that toiled towards making this happen, Opportunity and Spirit became more than robots- in them we could see the reflections of human dedication and perseverance.

Good night, Oppy! Good Night Spirit! May the stars watch over you!

It is true that a big part of this series focuses more on the impact such a perilous journey has on the families of those who dare. It is also true that it focuses on the extreme and omnipresent dangers of space, especially for an inter-planetary journey. Then again, are not all of these an important aspect of the initial, scary steps of space exploration, alongside trial and error processes and the politics behind a public-private venture? For those expecting a Hollywood style sci-fi and oversimplification of intellectual content, don't watch this series. The acting is on point, the cinematography is exceptional, so are the soundtrack and the story.

This is the first time when I am writing a review, however, I consider that I've chosen the perfect movie to do this. I was reticent when a friend told me to watch this movie- I was thinking that no movie can express what those people felt when their families were torn apart. Well, I was wrong: Naomi Watts and Ewan McGregor's performance is amazing, the scenario is perfect and the soundtrack completes everything else in this masterpiece. There are so many things to say about this movie, however, I will not spoil the viewer's surprise. I will just say: this movie is breathtaking and at the end, well, you will be speechless.
