Boneyard is probably the worst Mel Gibson movies I have ever watched.
Although Boneyard have an interesting plot everything else is extremely poor.
The Frist thing which comes to mind is editing. Cutting videos and putting them together is NOT film editing. For the most of the movies it seemed to be the case.
The music in most cases didn't make any sense. It seemed like they had to use some sort of music and they did.
The script is boring and without any bite. It's filled with cheesy dialogues and cliché.
All in all Boneyard is probably one of the worst films I have watched this year.
If you don't watch the movie you won't miss a thing.

I don't remember when I was the last time I saw a female lead acting as bad as Saleka Shyamalan.
I don't know where did M. Night Shyamalan find Saleka. But it was a horrendous casting.
The movie depended a lot on 'impossibilty'. It was filled with cliché.
M. Night is generally hit or miss. But I haven't seen a movie of him this bad.
Altogether, this is a poorly written and directed movie which was extremely poorly acted by the female lead.
Josh Hartnett as the main antagonist was very good and believable in places but as the story progressed his performance went down. I don't blame him.
I rather blame the poor story, bite less direction and obviously Saleka.

People need to know about cults and be aware of them.
The docu revolves around a small town cult called Rock mountain Church. Their followers maybe a few but the crimes committed by the leader is not.
It's a great subject for a documentary. The problem is the direction was not even sub par. It is was outright horrendous.
At times the movie felt like a bullet point presentation of the misdeeds of the church. And at other times it felt like the director was trying to sell how great "Wellspring Retreat and Resource Center" is than trying to tell the story of the survivors. In reality the "Wellspring Retreat and Resource Center" is also accused of using the same techniques that some of the cults use.
The docu had many great interviews but they were all cluttered together and failed to tell a comprehensive story.
I hope some better directors make a movie on the same subject just to give justice to the harrowing experience of the victims of this cult.
