I have been a Pokemon Fan from the start but I was slightly disappointed with this film.
Many pokemon fan know that 4Kids entertainment had the rights to all pokemon anime/movies how ever it was then taken over by "Pokemon.inc" so the leading roll of Ash ketchum would no longer be played by Veronica Taylor but by Sarah Natochenny (A sound alike vice actor) no offense to Sarah but Veronica was the Voice many people had come to know as Ash's voice. How ever the sound alike sounds NOTHING like Ash, and this movie is the best example of bad dubbing, all the original voices have been changed for the worst except for Jessie (the red headed member of team rocket) who for some reason sounds the same.
But aside from the voices, the story line and plot of this movie, kept me watching till the end. a nice choice of music for the battling moments,
The story is set around the time of the Diamond and pearl animes time line, as two pokemon are engaged in a battle caught between space and time, in the mean time ash and his buddies arrive in a new town, where Darkrai ( a pokemon that is cause of your bad dreams ) is bringing chaos to the town and its people. could this be the end of the pokemon world as we know it ?

Extra stage 2 has been aired on Sky perfect TV (pay preview) In Japan. with the DVD set to come out on the 5th of Dec.
Extra stage 2 follows the same story that was set in extra stage,
but is now set in the days of "Project D" (the fourth season)
the choice of music was great really caught the moments however the end theme was lacking something.
the opening intro animation was not the best, but the in show animation made up for it.
the only part I found a real down side too is that, they over use the 4 way split screen animation.
is great but to watch any of the Initial D: Extra stages (1 or 2) I recommend you have watched the show and have a strong interest in initial D, or these OVA's will not appeal to you as you wont know whats going on.

I get a strong feeling that this movie is meant for girls.
It all starts when Miho-San drops her Mobile phone (in the year 2008), and it ends up falling into a worm hole through space and time, The phone then ends up in the hands of young Takeshirou (in the year 1912) And thats basically what the story is about, and the contact between the of them.
the movie start as if it was leading some where, for some reason I a feeling of excitement, but oh how I was wrong.
The movie is nice and sweet, but they spend most of it on the phone. I feel the movie could have been better but for what it is its OK.
