... then everybody would have been fine. Maybe. But it's called 'The Divide', not 'Mick's Saving the World'. If you ask me, this is a well executed idea what could and/or would happen in such a scenario. Humans are complicated, the strong won't always protect the weak, and giving away your position 10 minutes into a survival horror movie screams "you're gonna get raided/abducted," so don't! Also, if you're like Mickey, don't invite strangers into your bunker.
Like a lot of reviewers, I both like the story but am also frustrated by it. I can ignore some things in service of the story, but get very annoyed by certain characters' actions. I genuinely loved Gens' first movie 'Frontier(s)' and think it was a great New French Extremity horror. He seems to be able to do a lot in limited locations. I'd give this movie a higher rating, but they did my boy Mick dirty. The older I get, the more I empathize with him. #justiceformick.

Let's keep it straight - this movie is a sequel to a decent horror B-movie, and as you'd expect, sequels are never as good as the original. Moreover, the budget would be less and the expectations likewise. That, however, is not the case when it comes to the quality of the final product.
The beginning seems standard B-movie fare, it doesn't look like this will be a quality effort simply judging from the first 2 scenes. Then we get introduced to characters that seem expendable and not worth following.
The thing is, it gets better with each minute. We get to see zombie Nazis attacking a village defended by its people and army troops, our main characters search for the device that turns dead soldiers into undead super troops that cannot be killed unless by a nuke.
We meet new antagonists and some old familiar ones. The story picks up, we see action, horror and intrigue. I was impressed by the production, effort & acting, expecting less than mediocre. It looks impressive and solid, the money is well spent. The movie does a lot with little, and keeps you guessing.
The ending turns out to have a few surprises, this movie tried to set up a sequel that never happened and never will. It's worth a watch if you like seeing Nazis get murked, especially if you played any shooter against zombies. Way better than the next installment.

Rarely does a follow up to a comic book movie fail so hard, it destroys the entire expanded universe that was built before it. Yet here we are, and here's a movie so expensive, so useless, so unnecessary and so boring, it almost makes Wonder Women 84 look good by comparison.
It took me 2 years to muster up the strength to watch this utter disaster, and still I felt like I could have done something better with my time, like sort my sock drawer or just have a 2-hour nap. Tho I still appreciate all the work that went into it, it's still a very shiny turd with lots of corny nuggets.
I am most impressed by how the biggest actors phoned it in - Liu, Mirren, any actor worth their salt was abhorrent. The kids were ok, tho waaay worse than the first time. The writing is boring, the direction directionless, and the only saving grace was it looked colorful. A colorful turd it is.
And worst of all - Gal Gadot was not the worst part of it. This movie destroyed its lead's career, he became a self-righteous and self-obsessed loser that blames an entire industry for his failure as an actor and person.
At least it's over and we never have to expect such schlock in the near future... j/k, I know there will be more of this nonsense, it never ends. The avalanche of dung keeps coming.
