The other low reviews on here really say it all. I gave it one star only due to the fact I rate some of the actors. When I watch films I'm looking to be entertained or at least be interested, but half way through this I felt I would have been more entertained by watching my toddler grandson with his little friends all playing and babbling a lot of nonsense.
Maybe I just don't get it but I really do find myself questioning wether anyone honestly enjoys this guff!! Or is there possibly a case of 'The emperors new clothes' going on here🤔 If it's just me who's a bit on the thick side then that's ok. I'm more than happy to be so if it means never wasting two hours of my life on watching anything like this again!

I tried to watch it but unfortunately I have a thing about accents and as much as I really wanted to continue watching and because I usually like anything Sophie Rundle is in,I'm afraid I had to give up after the first episode.
I just couldn't get passed the young girl Maya's accent or stop it from irritating me.
It probably wouldn't be noticeable if you're not from Glasgow but to me it sounded absolutely nothing like someone from a rougher more deprived area
Of course there's nothing wrong with the way the actress speaks but she has what my daughters and I call the 'Uni/drama club accent' and it just didn't give any authenticity to the character she was meant to be portraying.
Saying some swear words a few times couldn't disguise it and because of this I just couldn't seem to get into it properly.
I feel bad because she's young and I'm sure a really good actress, but in my opinion just not right for this part.

I can't believe the high ratings and good reviews for this or the fact that people really thought this was genuine!
I'm definitely not the sharpest tool in the box and I can be a little gullible at times but I remember watching this while pregnant with my second child and I swear the baby's kicks made me jump more than any scary moments in this nonsense.
I thought at first it was meant to be a spoof type programme taking the p..s out of the ghost hunting shows.
I realised that it wasn't and just remember thinking that the programme makers surely couldn't think that anyone watching it was going to be thick enough to believe it was real and not know within minutes that they were all acting.
I didn't stick it out till the end because it was so bad I started to feel insulted! I might well have insulted other reviewers on here myself and I apologise for that but......Seriously!! You really watched the same as I did and thought it was genuine? Maybe I'm not so gullible after all.
