This horror / thriller movie is just what i needed. I love this genre, and when it's simple yet brilliant that's a great balance. The movie is unpredictable. As a musician myself i will probably be left with ptsd lol. I guess the moral of the story - be careful what gigs u take lol. The cast has great chemistry and grit, yet we're pretty much rooting for the band mates to survive. None of the characters are necessarily unlikeable, and they move as a unit the entire movie, which is cool to see. The music in the movie is decent. There's a lot of different action scenes, both fight scenes and weapons. I love the balance of male and female characters. The plot never gets boring or too slow or confusing. Would love to see more from this director. They did a whole lot with a minimal budget and the actors dug deep. Would re watch this again.
As a horror fan and someone who doesn't really care for romance, I've never seen that combination done, let alone in such a unique and refreshing way. The movie is honestly scary. And if you're not scared, bare minimum you WILL be uncomfortable. There's the right amount of tension literally from the very first to the very last scene. U don't really know what's going to happen next. The 2 lead actors are fresh faced and must display a lot of range to do a film based on romance + horror, without many characters to carry the plot along. I've never heard of either lead actor and I think they were both brilliant. Every shot, angle and line seems highly intentional. This one caught me by surprise and I didn't think I would like it, but it's one of the most unique things I've watched in a while. 9/10 and I'll be keeping my eye on more from the leads and the director.
