What a weird movie.
It started off okay and somewhat normal. A new father, recently separated logs on to a dating site and hooks up with a strange woman. That's the extent of the normal part.
From that point on, the movie slowly takes a supernatural turn that I found quite confusing.
Ron Perlman is on board as a disgraced doctor that tries to warn the young father of the dangers of the woman he has contacted, however his link to the woman is not completely explained.
There are a lot of soft core sex scenes that I found to be a lot more disgusting than titillating.
All in all, a disjointed, confusing mess. I give it a 2 at best.

I'm still watching season 1; so far, so good.
Update; I finished season 1, but gave up on season 2 as it became repetitive and boring.
I still think Keifer Sutherland is too short to play a president! He has no presidential presence whatsoever. His acting is fine; but he just can't overcome his small stature for a character like this. The scenes where he needs to be tough and confrontational come across as comical when he's looking up at his adversary!
Otherwise, the story is fine, although a bit predictable. It's easy to spot the good guys and those who are conspiring against the president.
As I mentioned season 1 was okay; what I saw of season 2 sucked, and I gave up on it.

This movie is entertaining if there is nothing else on. The plot is silly; the magnetic poles somehow reverse and the ocean drains to the other side of the earth? And the speed at which it happens is comical. Miles of water goes missing in a matter of hours? Sure....
The family is pretty stupid as well, especially the mom. She spends most of the time being hysterical and moaning. Terrible actress.
The movie itself is frustrating to watch in that for a while they are speaking English, then about halfway through they switch to French. To make matters worse, the captioning for the movie is the worst I've ever seen. Often makes no sense whatsoever.
The ending of the movie is unsatisfying and pretty stupid.
I give it a 3 at best. Okay if you have absolutely nothing else to watch.
