Arne Cheyenne Johnson stabs and murders his landlord, claiming to be under demonic possession while Ed and Lorraine Warren investigate the case and try to prove his innocence.
This is third film is the Conjuring series.
The film should be more termed as mystery thriller film instead of horror thriller as despite of some jump scares the film nowhere scares although the film didn't disappoints.
The plot of the film which is based on a real incidents is good and execution is also decent. The film will keep you engaged through it's gripping story-line however the film disappoints when it comes to scary scenes.
Acting is superb by all the actors with Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga were impressive as usual and was beautifully supported by supporting cast.
Screenplay of the film is decent but could've been good. Climax of the film is also good.
Overall a good mystery thriller with hints of horror or scary scenes.

The Equalizer 3 is a vigilante action-thriller film directed by Antoine Fuqua. The film stars Denzel Washington, Dakota Fanning, Eugenio Mastrandrea, David Denman, Gaia Scodellaro, and Remo Girone.
Robert McCall is living peacefully in Italy where he gets to know that his new friends are being threatened by Mafia, he decides to take the matter in his own hands.
The third and probably the final entry in the highly entertaining Equalizer series the film starts with a bang in the trademark style and gives a hope of another roller coaster ride of a film filled with action scenes but as the film progresses the film changes track and gets into more storytelling although it will not make you loose interest in the film.
The acting is superb and Denzel was very impressive as usual. Dakota Fanning was also very impressive. Rest of the cast was also impressive.
Screenplay of the film was decent and will hold the viewers with it's decent pace. The climax of the film was superb and ends up on a superb note.
A must watch film for Denzel Washington's and The Equalizer's fan.
