I've never been one to say that great films should learn a thing or two from other films, however, the one element I never got into with the 'Big Chill,' was the glossy-ness of the scenes, the direction, and the filming itself. Kasdan obviously had star-filled cast, unlike 'Wormkiller,' but this film had more realistic ebbs and flows than most friendship films I've ever seen. Dempsey does a tremendous job of writing and directing in this mini-Chill styled pic, and he doesn't let the leads take themselves too seriously. The one negative comment I would have to make, is that I would have loved to seen more of the women get involved, and get involved more. The 'Wormkillers,' is simple film about real people meeting the end of their road together. It's the type of movie that appeals to the memories of our youth.
This was an excellent action movie, and Jim Fitzpatrick does a great performance. I don't care what you think you might know about Terrorism or Columbians, or Production value, or, whatever. Team Delta is on a roll and they're not gonna stop until the bill is paid in-full.
I love the fact that they don't pretend to be anything more than pure fantasy and entertainment. This guy Fitzpatrick doesn't take himself to serious and it's evident that these actors really had fun making this film. ROCK-ON!
It would be different if a Studio spent millions of dollars on a big star, which would take me out of it. I rep lots of big stars, but Fitzpatrick is so much more interesting. His range is bigger, broader.

You have to at first understand and contemplate all various positions on our existence as we know it. Henry Whetstone, undoubtedly has his own theories, which I could embrace, if the storyline was just a little bit more clear. The acting was unusually good, the lead actor (James Fitzpatrick) has a very charismatic appeal. And the supporting cast was equally good.
The philosophy of the piece, is deep, mesmerizing, thought-provoking. Philosophically engaging, I loved it. Only those with deep insight and intellect will truly be able to appreciate the magnitude of this work. Those film goers interested in magnanimous action and gratuitous sex need not bother. The Code Conspiracy is a revelation of a sort.
