Anyone who has a 6 digit salary would agree that the only thing better than have a great income is not having one...which is exactly what Kevin Bacon decides to do in Quicksilver. Bacon is a stockbroker, the best there is, but somehow manages to lose all his and his parents money. What happens next is that he decides that being a bike messenger is the only life he can have now. He learns all the bike tricks and can even do jumps. This may not be suitable for children since he rides around without a helmet or reflectors. Things to remember when you go on your next bike ride. A. Check you tires, make sure you haven't caught any debris in them. B. Make sure you have a nice hairdo so old ladies aren't offended by your appearance. c. Don't talk to dogs you don't know, stray dogs may bite you.
I watched Mario Brothers the movie expecting it to be really bad. Its not that I felt film makers were incapable of making a movie about two plumbers who use pipes to travel to other worlds, its that I was afraid that the video game was so good, the movie couldn't compare. BOY OH BOY was I wrong. This movie clearly kicks major booty. I had the Mario Brothers sticker book and used to pretend i was a mushroom. Dennis Hopper should win an Oscar portrayal of a troubled dragon, Koopa, who is trying to find his identity in the underworld while governing his Koopa Troopas. He leads two lives, plus, Italian brothers try to kill him. On A scale from 1 to 2 this movie gets a 2. My only problem with this movie is that no matter how hard I push my controller buttons, the movie always ends the same way.
Put yourself in a dragon's shoes, or claws if you will. You are dragon, you fly around and eat small animals to stay alive. All you want is to be left alone and make a nest for your babies. BUT NO! Idiots like Dean Cain have to ruin it for you. Cain has a science lab and one of his eggs in the lab cracks open and an ancient dragon flies out. The dragon flies around and looks for food and a safe place to land. But Dean Cain and his band of rebel soldiers fly around in their expensive, million dollar space ship and fight the poor dragon. Of course their high tech ship is almost no match for the ancient warrior beast who uses his fire power to douse the ship several times with raw, atomic flame. This movie kicks major, major, butt.
