Season 3 is still watchable and interesting for the most part, but the show is definitely getting overly preachy. Sad to see this kind of deterioration in a nice show.
Preachiness doesn't normally bother me too much, but sometimes the dialog is so blatantly pointed, they might as well just turn to the camera like a 1950's advertising pitch. It's like verbal product placement.
Even some of the emotional outbursts, while well-acted, just didn't make sense in the story line. "Oh, I think we need a tearful outburst here. Never mind it's a non sequitur."
I'm constantly reminded of the old show, "7th Heaven," which I eventually stopped watching, because the dialog was so blatantly just a sermon.

'Sith' is easily the best of episodes I - III, but none of them belong anywhere near the same class as IV - VI. I enjoyed 'Sith,' but I have the following criticisms:
1. Acting. There wasn't any. In all three recent movies (Episodes I - III) the characters have NO personality. Everyone, even veteran actors Liam Neeson and Samuel L. Jackson, was wooden, wooden, wooden. I can't think of any character in episodes IV - VI who were so poor. I remember, following each of the first 3 movies, people were quoting memorable lines all over the place. Remember "What an incredible smell you've discovered!" or "Laugh it up, fuzzball?" There has been none of that from these three. In the new movies there is no banter, no humor, no personality. The one exception is Jar Jar Binks, but so many people found him annoying. I said at the time that I thought this was because he was the only character with personality in the movie. He stood out TOO much.
2. Over-dependence on computer animation. IV - VI were far more realistic-looking, because they made the effort to make it look that way.
I give episodes I - III each a 'C.' 'Sith,' maybe a C+.
