One after another, every character does really foolish things around every corner. It's as if the writers weren't creative enough to have things happen despite characters doing things most people would do. 3 episodes in and everything is driven by the characters doing the exact opposite of what they should be doing. They all just keep behaving as clueless as can be, from the kids to the adults, even the police officer.
I liked season 1 but this season has me yelling at the screen (in my mind). It starts in the very first episode with a dare. A stupid dare. Something we have all seen in a million shows and films since the 1980s. Nothing is original here. They've taken all the annoying characters from every horror film and somehow jammed them into this series.

It was a fun ride that had a lot of the original elements. Nothing new in terms of the plot but it was entertaining. It was nice to see most of the original cast show up throughout the film. Everyone is a lot older so don't expect a lot of physical action and fighting scenes, just a lot of bullets flying.
I said everyone is much older but the main start, Murphy, seriously doesn't look much older than he did in Beverly Hills Cop III. There's a scene with Eddie Murphy and Kevin Bacon in a room together. Bacon looks like the 65 year old OG he is but Murphy looks nowhere near his age of 63. 63! Let that sink in when you see him on screen. Unbelievable.
