I really liked Young Sheldon, but I've never seen The Big Bang Theory. So, I decided to give it a shot, and boom-laugh track. Closed it halfway through the first episode. Now, I got excited for this new show, and boom again-10 laugh tracks in the first 30 seconds. Why ruin a show like this? I really like George; he's such a solid character. Young Sheldon was great, and the actors do an amazing job, but now this show with the laugh tracks? They completely kill the vibe. It's like they don't trust viewers to understand what's funny or enjoy the humor on their own. I hope someone can Edit the laugh tracks out.
I stumbled upon this show by accident while browsing through a catalog of new releases and decided to start the first episode purely based on the poster. I thought, "Maybe it'll be something like Stranger Things or the Fear Street trilogy," but it turned out to be completely different. It's been quite some time since I've felt this kind of excitement-similar to when I watched The Haunting of Hill House.
This show isn't overly serious, but it's not a comedy either. I really enjoyed it overall, though I felt the ending was a bit lacking. I was expecting something different, and it ended up feeling a little cliché. That said, I still recommend giving it a watch!

I typically refrain from writing reviews, but this particular movie left such a lasting impression that I felt compelled to share my thoughts. Without a doubt, it ranks as the worst sci-fi film I've ever had the misfortune of watching. The absence of dialogue left me yearning for the engaging conversations that often define the genre. Moreover, the alien's design was a significant letdown, lacking the creativity and detail that sci-fi fans usually anticipate. If the creators had condensed the plot into a 30-minute short film, it might have salvaged a somewhat respectable 6/10 rating. However, as it stands, I strongly advise against investing your time in this film. There are countless other sci-fi gems out there deserving of your attention.
