The first 7 seasons are absolute perfection - good plots, exceptional acting, moody, gorgeous. 8 and 9 are an absolute bust - and not because of Ashley Jensen - she's fine. But the actress playing Tosh simply does not have the talent or presence to carry so much screen time. Her exaggerated facial expressions are ridiculoys & I am irritated every time she's in a scene - which is much too often. Why has Sandy been relegated to office-boy status? He isn't featured at all & he DOES have the talent to be a centerpiece character. This show went from a 10 to a 6, largely due to the eye-rolling and lip curling of Yosh. Please kill her off already and promote Sandy. Sheesh.

I really do hope this clever, insightful, and timely program is renewed for more seasons. Besides shining a bright light on the myriad missing and murdered indigenous women in this country, it delves into the relationship between power and money and its resulting corruption. We desperately need this kind of truth in the current age of the unhinged screeching 'fake news!' when they are exposed to a truth that they just don't like or want to face. Plus, the writing, acting, and Alaskan scenery are just superb. 'You don't need a bad guy when you've got a bad culture.' Looking forward to more. Well done!
