This is SORT of Mel Brooks style but more reigned in . . . But more outrageous & comedic than the Lethal Weapon buddy team.
Remember the kind of movies you liked back then - only when high?

Do you like characters who have quite highly contrasting personalities/jobs, yet have an undeniable chemistry?
