Never Let Go had the potential to be a good movie but it has flaws what brought the ratings down. I think most of the people, myself included, were not happy with the ending which was open to interpretation. I like clear endings, no nonsense, not have to think about what was real and what not, and in this movie there are questions unanswered which is a pity to be honest because for the rest it wasn't bad. Good acting from Halle Berry and from the two kids Percy Daggs IV and Anthony B. Jenkins. As for the horror there are not much of those scenes but the ones that were there were interesting and well made. The movie is good enough to watch once.
Artificial Intelligence going wrong, it has been done before, that's for sure, but T. I. M. Was actually not a bad movie at all. My wife and I did enjoy this one. A simple story, basically at the same location (or house in this case), with a small cast, but still good entertainment. Artificial Intelligence, it's still all very new but I can see things like this happening in a not so far future. They already have serious concerns about AI reproducing itself so a scenario where AI is getting hostile is in my opinion not even that far fetched. The story is easy to follow and the acting was good. As for the cinematography it was simple but effective, it all looked good. Worth a watch if you like sci-fi thrillers.
South Korean cinema is one of my favourites so I was looking forward to watch this new movie from director Yeon Sang-ho. I really enjoyed watching his previous movies Train To Busan and Jung_E, both movies that I scored with an eight. Revelations is not as good as the other two but it is still a more than decent movie. Another genre, a crime/thriller this time, with good actors and a story that was pleasant to follow. Sure towards the end the crime solving got a bit too easy but still a decent movie in this genre. As for the cinematography that was very good again, almost like usual I would say when thinking about Yeon Sang-ho.
