The story is always the heart of any movie, and Conclave takes us through the politics behind the walls of the Vatican every time a new leader of the church is chosen. The story also shows the essence of the church ruled by imperfect humans, which gives it a refreshing perspective.
The story is well told, and the plot twists are good. They connect with issues in our world today, leaving us with the question of what if.
It has great acting, a good story, and beautiful scenarios. This film is well made and is a great thriller to see if you like the who-done-it type of film but without a crime. I enjoy it through. Well done. Ignore the bad reviews; it is excellent in a time of sequels, prequels, and a lack of original stories in modern cinema.

"Ennio" is a unique and beautiful homage directed by Giuseppe Tornatore to Ennio Morricone's legacy in world music and worldwide cinema music. It offers a rare glimpse into the maestro's life and work, making it a must-watch for music and cinema lovers, fans of Ennio Morricone, and those interested in the history of cinema music.
The documentary 'Ennio' comprehensively explores Morricone's life, career, and passion for music. It provides a unique opportunity to witness the maestro at work, capturing how he brings his musical genius to life. The film is filled with insightful interviews, rare footage, and behind-the-scenes moments, giving the audience an intimate look at the man behind the music.
In the film, Morricone shares how he wanted to be a doctor, but his father pushed him toward music, ultimately becoming his legacy. Also, he shared how he studied music and began his career creating all types of music for singers, television, and cinema, which, back in the 1960s, his teachers and himself believed was humiliating. For them, he should be creating classical music. However, time proved them wrong, and Morricone became a successful cinema music composer. Only in 1969, he created music for more than 20 films. By the 2000s, he had in his curriculum a list of more than 300 films from all over the world in which he worked with directors like Sergio Leone, Brian de Palma, Quentin Tarantino, and many more.
Ennio Morricone's name is forever intertwined with 20th-century cinema. His music, featured in films like "The Untouchables," "The Mission," "The Good, the Bad and the Ugly," "A Fistful of Dollars," and "Cinema Paradiso," among many others, has the profound ability to evoke laughter, tears, and deep emotional resonance.
"Ennio" is a spectacular film for music and cinema lovers. It is the best homage to a man who has touched human emotion through many generations and many more who will continue enjoying his music as it happens with classical composers today, such as Mozart, Beethoven, and Bach.
For "Ennio," Tornatore included Morricone's presence in sharing his story and work with many Italian singers, composers, and film directors worldwide.
"Ennio" is predominantly in Italian but with English subtitles, making it accessible to a wider audience.

The Long Game is a film based on a story about a group of Mexican American young men living on the border in the 1950s. The film story shows experiences of racism and discrimination Mexican Americans experienced in those days.
This group of young men work in a golf club while practicing golf after finishing their shift in a field. One day, they are discovered by a Mexican American school superintendent who sees in them the potential they have.
This is a film that inspires and reminds us of the many experiences Mexican Americans have in the United States. For example, it reminds us about all the Mexican Americans and people of Mexican descent who have fought in wars defending the United States, and their efforts have been historically ignored in history books.
The Long Game is an enjoyable film, even for those who are not golf enthusiasts but who enjoy a good movie with good acting and a good story.
