No a-lister in their right mind should have gotten near this awful script. Just awful. One minute, Ava's mom is a self-absorbed jerk and the next minute she's a loving old lady who is just so proud of her baby. We meet gratuitous characters all through the movie who mainly serve as punching bags with vendettas...action movies don't need so much touchy feely talking, but if we have to explore everyone's feelings, can we not do it so awkwardly? One minute, the clever one-liners are flying out of everyone's mouths, the next minute we just hear incoherent whining. There are too many underdeveloped subplots and the characters just flip in the middle of everything.

Just a waste of time.

All I can think is that these people filmed an unreasonable number of scenes where someone is just standing there looking apprehensive or sad. The most meaningful words that are spoken are almost total rubbish. I really wish these episodes were not so long.
