I dont why almost everybody's bashing it.
Solarbabies is one of the best movies ive seen so far. Unlike most stuff hollywood makes today, this one's very original, has awesome special effects! Great locations, truly gives that apocalyptic world vibes. Same as the mad max franchise. And it was very moving in story/plot. And i enjoyed that the leads... jason patric and jami gertz later star in the lost boys a year later at that time.
And i praise both the cast and crew dealing with a whole lot of trouble while making the movie. I believe it was worth it cause solarbabies was awesome!
I give it a 9/10.
