As a Dracula movie fan, third was truly disappointing. Flat. Agonisingly drawn out and slow, which I test had hoped for but it was over acted and so much time spent on crying and wailing, and won where near enough of the Nosferatu horror.
Not a touch on the previous despite all the style and amazing set designs capturing the period.
The cast were interesting, but Defoe just was wrong for the role.
Just dragged. I wanted to fast forward to the confrontations and gothic horror but it just was the same thing I've seen before but slower.
Perhaps an attempt to play more on the characters suffering!
Sorry but this was flat and a toothless vampire.

A decent Sunday afternoon movie, with good intentions, and feels quite like an attempt on a new spin on A Quiet Place, with some interesting twists on the disaster scenario. As sci fi survival disaster movies go, it was ok. Some nice moments, great casting and well made, had some good thrills then wasted some good moments.
No new ground trodden. Some twists that were interesting but never explained.
But some big old holes in the plot that needed answering and some low budget moments where I imagine they'd used up the CGI so made do with 'suspense' and relied on very good cast to carry the moments. Overall I liked it but only give it a 5.

I watched this with without hearing the hype, and really enjoyed the dark psychological twists and suspense.
Maybe not for everyone, but anyone who loves horror and is searching for new thrills will enjoy this.
We agreed we've not seen anything like it before, which makes for an exquisite dark and foreboding tale.
From the start, sinister and visually stunning in its bleak horror and sparse grittiness, with suspense building up and lingering always just behind you.
This films a rarity, which I enjoy finding, one to sit in silence hypnotised, and savour the excellent characters and harsh brutality of madness.
Superbly disturbing characters created and played excellently with some great 'straight cop starts to see more'
