In recent years, a good quality Hungarian film is as rare as the White Raven. Most are either very weak or just mediocre...
This film is entertaining, funny, interesting, the characters are good and the story is good. It was enjoyable to watch this film. Congratulations to the makers!!!! Even at the end, my faith returns that Hungarian films can be good.
The story is entertaining, hilarious, how the vicissitudes of marathon training and finding a partner are connected. I can only recommend watching the film.
Congratulations to the makers, they deserve it!!!! We need more good stories and movies like this.

I love historical adventure films. I am Hungarian and I really miss films and series based on exciting Hungarian stories/books. There are so many sensational Hungarian novels, and somehow they are rarely made into films... and they could be! And that is why I was really looking forward to the Hunyadi series.
First of all, I would like to congratulate the filmmakers for the sets and costumes, because finally it is quality work, and it shows in the film. I was satisfied with the spectacle.
However, what needs to be improved is the storytelling, the dynamics of the films, real exciting actions, the presentation of the characters' personality traits and character development. There is no need for self-serving scenes, unnecessary, "cautious" sex scenes that do not advance the story. If they were going to include sex scenes, they should have achieved a more authentic look, so the whole thing is like a "sterile, plastic, pink teen dream" rather than the Middle Ages.
We want multi-dimensional characters, not "pencil drawings". Of course, the character of János Hunyadi would be good in appearance, but his personality lacks depth, passion, the dynamics. Unfortunately, he just became a "pencil drawing" character.
Most of all there is a problem with the acting, especially with the actor's voice and speech. Hungarian actors cannot "escape" from the "theatrical style of speech"... this is unacceptable in a film!
The actors who played King Sigismund, Erzsébet Szilágyi, and János Hunyadi's they spoke in not "lifelike style".... and their too theatrical style of voices delivery spoils the enjoyment of the film. Why doesn't the director notice this? Doesn't he have ears to hear? And the sound engineer? Doesn't he hear this theatrical, mannered speech from his actors either? As long as Hungarian directors/actors are not willing to change this, they will not be able to escape from mediocrity, because with this theatrical style of speech their performance in the film becomes unreliable. I have only seen 2 parts of the film series, which I like, but there are "childhood diseases"... I like the series, but with a little attention it could have been much better if they had paid more attention to the script, the personality traits, and paid more attention to the work and speech of the actors.

I was still young when the first Formula 1 race came to Hungary... I was there and watched in amazement a black and gold car as a young driver dismissed famous great drivers one after another. I will never forget how I saw in this driver the fighting spirit, the love of racing. I loved him from the first moment... Since 1986 I have been an unwavering fan of Ayrton Senna, the best racing driver the world has ever seen. I saw every race he did after him... I was personally there among the enthusiastic audience at many races. I read every available newspaper article, news, book about him that I could. His accident and death really affected me... I didn't watch Formula 1 racing for years afterwards. In recent years I have started watching Formula 1 races on TV again... It is very different from when he was there. Of course, this is a different generation. I miss the passion, the desire to win, the heroism that I saw in him every minute he was in the car. Ayrton Senna is a three-time world champion. Others may have more world championship titles, but they will never be as iconic as SENNA.
He was the best... He is still the best!
