All things considered I think this is a really great series that actually takes full advantage of the cinematic universe it takes place in. It links all the previous films together and uncovers a storyline that you can see happening in the background of everything. I tried not going into watching it expecting it to be all about Godzilla, but it features him and other kaiju a fair amount, and I think people are discrediting that because it's not always Godzilla. I was pleasantly surprised by most of the human drama as well, the characters are mostly all great, though it takes time to get really into it. The show is definitely a slow burn but if you go in expecting a well written show about the human side of the monsterverse you should be pleasantly surprised by monarch!

Ok episode, pretty fillery though. Fun showcase for Dinobot though. Decent, but not great.
