I was forced to watch all seasons recently and season 2 was by far the best as it had some suspense and thought provoking scenes. But when looking at the entire show...its literally about nothing. Most of the scenes are not linked or have any meaning. People going about their lives. Imagine watching a movie and the actor goes into a store. Thats it. You're left sitting there asking...ok why. As a viewer or audience, ironically, its the very definition of time wasting as we sit in front of a TV.
All seasons seem to share the idea of having at least 2 characters able to trigger the audience in an obnoxiously way, make everyone a potential candidate to death, have some sort of self redemption then have some lack luster death. The white lotus cookie cutter recipe.
Would not recommend watching. There are better shows with substance.

I personally dont like films that use single sets. It just reminds me of lazy direction or writing. But i wanted to see what this film was about. This film was shot in a POV view which i havent seen in a while but done decently.
The script and acting was where this film just tanks. Incredibly slow with zero tension. All the build up scenes with dialogue were inconsequential or insignificant. Weak writing. The casting director should have done a more thorough job. These are more like first time indy actors with the lead antagonist being the worst. When i see good young actors i see Stranger Things. So thats the comparison.
I hope you didnt pay to watch this or intend to.

This film, if you call it that, is purely for the circus crowd. Easily amused by events that have zero meaning or thought behind it. Think small fireworks in your backyard. Same conclusion. So if you give zero sticks about a storyline, plot or just basic reasoning...this is for you.
James Wan, producer, reminds me of M Night, where they do 1 or 2 really good movies, theyre ego gets completely inflated and think anything they touch is gold. So please stop making movies Wan...its embarrassing.
As for the for the director himself, he did a decent job based on what the script was. Acting was ok for what it was worth.
Don't pay for this and wait for it to stream on your weekday TNT midnight matinee if you have nothing else to watch.
