Might be the only person who had never read the book or seen the movie before I came across this show on Netflix. First, I was not sure about their chemistry immediately but this is a slow burn and by the 2nd or 3rd episode I was rooting for them, hard.
This was a great show that made me laugh and certainly made me cry. It was so well done and the acting is quite impressive. For those lamenting that this was an unnecessary remake - a series allows the viewers to get a full, in depth picture of the characters and their stories, which is always difficult with a film. Also, I wouldn't consider t a remake as much of a second adaptation of a book.
Perhaps I loved it so much because I'm new to the story but...Watch it.

This movie was a really adorable romance story with fantastic music throughout. It is exactly what I expected it to be, fun and lighthearted. No need for excessive critiques here
I genuinely enjoyed watching the first three episodes of this series and am looking forward to the rest. The acting is spot on and the cinematography is very well done. Found myself laughing out loud more than once.
It's annoying that I have to watch it online but that is for another day.
