This was unbearable to watch. Just like M Mohanan's past movies the characters are cartoonish and the comedy is outdated. His movies makes me feel like I'm watching a play(natakam). Aravindante Athithikal is an exception.
Coming to OJJ, the actors have done a terrible job. But with writing and direction like this, I don't think anyone could've saved this movie. Most scenes made me cringe while they were going for comedy. I don't understand why there was so many characters. None of them had any depth at all. It had a satirical nature but it simply didn't work.
It's like the writer found some topics from social media comment box and made a script around it.

Pushpa 1 was a decent mass masala movie. It had its typical Telugu masala flaws but the overall screenplay was engaging and worth watching. Except for Sreevalli, I enjoyed the first part.
Coming to Pushpa 2, Sukumar and Rashmika have repeated the magic. It was unbearable to hear Sreevalli's conversations with anyone. Even Pushpa's lines have been brought to her level.
The major weakness is the lack of a solid story and screenplay. The major story of the movie is based on a simple ego clash between the chief minister and Pushpa. While it does make sense that someone like Pushpa would go to any end to satisfy his ego, as a viewer, I couldn't care less. Then Sukumar tried to exploit our emotions using Pushpa's lack of a family name, which also didn't work.
Dear Sukumar, this is 2025. Try something new.
The songs were not enjoyable at all because of the costumes and choreography. Seriously, who designed these costumes? What were they thinking?
It's the costumes and choreography that made it look like a Bhojpuri movie. What a waste of money?!
Action choreography was pure sht. First part had some logicless action sequences but it was still acceptable for a mass masala movie. But in Pushpa 2, I could feel my brain cells dying while watching it.
The background score was underwhelming. BGM is one of the most important parts of a mass movie. Sam C S dropped the ball there.
Sukumar had an actor like Fahad Fassil, but he decided to give him a joker role. Dear Fahad, I know it pays well. But you deserve better.
Allu Arjun's acting is decent compared to his old movies. Not award-worthy though.
On top of everything, the Netflix version is 3:44 hrs long. I wonder how many scenes did they shoot in the first place.
I am sad that this movie made so much money, which will result in Sukumar making a shtty movie for the sequel.
