For me, all qualities the movie may have had were lost in the lengthy use of macabre language at the beginning.
The constant and repetitive question "are you here to kill us?", split apart by the repetition of words like "kill", "die", "dead", "hate", "jerk", "murder" as others have mentioned, and humor based on a barrage of violent behavior killed the mood for me. Nothing that came after was enjoyable despite any qualities it may had because it changed my mood.
Unless society is assuming that violence has become a staple for kids entertainment and that subjecting the younger ones to enjoy violence is good, I cannot understand how the studio could find this appropriate.
If the movie is not intended for young kids, than the story is very weak, basic and done a million times, both in animation as in regular movies.
Based on the hype, it was a huge disappointment and a waste of time with so much better animations to be seen, especially if you want to show a movie to your kids.

I'm not a fan(atic) of the Star Wars franchise, just someone who has sci-fi has the favorite movie and (almost exclusive) book genre, so each time I watch something from this franchise I tend to evaluate it for it's own merits. And all I can say is that this was baaaad!
It's even worse than Kenobi which was completely forgettable. I honestly can't remember almost anything of it except it was generally boring. And it's also worse than Boba Fett which had a non-engaging story and a main character that I didn't care about.
On the opposite side we have The Mandalorian which is highly entertaining, fun and funny and with a good story, and Andor, the most adult of all the series with a more realistic story, great atmosphere and great acting.
Ahoska is worse than any of the previous in everything. The story is predictable, most of the characters annoying, the directing pompous an the acting generally horrible.
Ahsoka is completely wooden. There's no intensity conveyed, just a blank face and theatrical overacting.
Sabine is the worst. Don't know if it's the actress, the directing or the story but it's obnoxious, A rebel just for the sake of being rebel with irrational decision making and not credible at all. So, she's a war hero but acts like a teenager. The little smirks, the shoulder shrugs, the way she moves and looks at others in a conversation is more fitted to a juvenile soap than to this character. Horrible acting. Hera is almost the same except not as bad. But for a General that young adult attitude does not fit the character. Remember, these are two people who fought on a galactic war and show zero maturity in the way they express themselves.
Baylan and Shin. The first I liked although being overly theatrical too. But Shin looks like shes permanently constipated and in need to run to a bathroom or desperate holding some strong flatulence. Each time she appeared on screen I just wanted to laugh.
The other characters I didn't even care but their flaws are the same mentioned above in varying degree.
And the directing... is so pretentious. Those constant long looks in silence between characters or over the landscape after a conversation do not bring depth to the show. At least as long as the story is so basic and predictable and the characters/acting are so bad. They aren't saying anything meaningful that requires a moment of reflection!
I doubt I'll watch the second season. Maybe I'll give a try to 1st or 2nd ones but either it improves dramatically or it's gone.

By the start of the second horrible song at the beginning I gave up. Americans have a taste for musicals so on a lot of TV shows they feel the need to ruin completely an episode with this stupid tradition.
Maybe a nephew of a producer likes to write some songs and they forced the whole cast to this ridiculousness so the brat has a future on Brodway.
Plus, the playback and sound technique is so horribly done that the mouth of the actors don't even match the song being heard and the studio sound style does not match the usual sound type of the locale the characters are.
A total travesty and the worst episode of the series.
