Much to my big shame , I didn't get to see this awesome movie ! Great script , amazing makeup and , although there were so many teenage actors , amazing scenes ! I feel ashamed that I dicovered this lovely J. J. Abrams lovely gem 12 years later ! But, you Know...it's never too late !

It was a great surprise , I enjoyed a lot the way that P. T. Anderson and the cast revived the 70's ! With bitter humour , nice and witty lines and pretty good acting , actually I liked it so much that I've seen the movie twice. Although some of the situations are a little ilogic , they are hilarious and surprising and give Licorice Pizza a charm of its own . Compared to the new 2021 West Side Story it's more original and entertaining.... After all , I've never judged movies according to their Oscar or Golden Globes nominations or wins . A lot of them were overrated , dull and utterly boring....

Mr. Spielberg feels probably bored on pandemic reasons but this is by no means a gem like the original 1957 movie ! After a huge success on Broadway , a crew of great actors and directors were almost begged to put it on celluloid for the big screen....and it's still an all-time favourite film for many ! I don't understand the need for all these remakes as long as the original is clearly superior ? The music sounds different, the atmosphere is different , gloomier & spoiled and the actors innappropriate ,with little chemistry and no musical experience . Still don't get why the fabulous reviews and Oscars'nominations kept pouring in ? I strongly suggest Liquorice Pizza , an excellent directed and accomplished movie about the 70's....
