I was looking forward to this, hearing much about Pamela Anderson finding her form in the film. It is true that this is by far the best I have ever seen her, let's not get over excited as she is no Meryl Streep as yet, but she was great to watch. Fortunately or unfortunately, Jamie Lee Curtis polls up to steal the show on the acting front with a superb character piece. Props also to Dave Bautista (who knew), who also showed he can act with a great portrayal of the gentle giant, who when it comes to the old time show girl and the meaning there-in "gets it". It's a simple story of age and decay of an aging ex beautiful young showgirl, still treading the boards, and also reflects parts of Vegas in a similar light, with its own age and decay. Friends holding close within this melancholic tale of broken individuals. The film helps us see, and maybe reflect on our own ticking clock. Very worthy watch 7/10.

I do like a music based film, and I'm old enough to know and like Bob. I think Timothy is good, but previously so young looking I struggled with some of his roles. Here he grows up. Bob Dylan is a great part for him, and he plays him well, maturing physically and as an actor.

The film seemed a little "clean" and in the midst of the mid 60's onward, drugs seem to be limited to cigarettes! Even Bob himself has talked about drugs issues related to opioids and psychedelics, so it did seem an important admission, maybe related to Bob still being with us.

However still an entertaining biopic with great music which was the focus (as it should bet) for the Nobel prize winning icon.

Driving home from the cinema happily singing along to Bob which clearly had the desired effect. 7/10.

Good well made story of this classic show. Great to see the names you know, Chevy, John Belushi, Dan Aykroyd, and understand something of the birth of this groundbreaking show, a worthy watch as a Brit, but you could also tell what was missing as a Brit in that this show did not form part of our formative years, and there is (and certainly was) the differing of UK and US humour, some of which does of course translate in the films we know with these "stars".

I would have liked to have seen it through the eyes of an American where this was a big part of their culture and upbringing. As it is, a good tale, worth a watch, but nothing stunning re the cultural differences. 👍
