Häme

Häme (pronounced [ˈhæme]; Swedish: Tavastland; Latin: Tavastia) is the name of a geographical region in Finland, associated with the Tavastians, or Häme people (hämäläiset), a subgroup of the Finnish people. The precise area referred to can vary depending on the context.
