- Men neme een mooie beroemde vrouw, een klinkende boodschap en voilà. ― Take a beautiful famous woman, a resounding message, and voila.
Usage notes
“Men neme” were the traditional opening words of a recipe, followed by a list of ingredients and further instructions in the subjunctive mood. While archaic, this form is still commonly used for (often fictitious and facetious) success formulas.
