synopsis
Alice lives in the suburbs with her mother Louise. The two women get on well. One day, as she reads an online advertisement, Louise believes that fate has finally knocked on her door. She hopes that her daughter will be hired by Blumenstein, a renowned lawyer she used to know well. Gradually Alice becomes a prisoner of her mother’s dream and gauges the difficulty of the undertaking: her world is light years away from that of Blumenstein...They nonetheless meet one another during a weekend in the country. Alice causes these two opposing worlds to collide when she commits a violent deception that raises many questions...
