Nice. Looks like they're showing in NYC as well. Surprisingly early showtimes here too. I figured they'd all be later night stuff, which I wouldn't like.

Pretty cool of Alamo to do this and going to try and watch at least one. I'm not sure my eldest daughter would be interested in any of these outside of maybe Lady Snowblood, but that's pretty violent. If I can get a babysitter, the sky is the limit, and I'd probably pick either Ran or 13 Assassins.

There is also a Japanese themed popcorn bucket and food menu, so we'll see. Still, as I mentioned pretty cool of Alamo to do this to promote Ghost of Yotai. I have a feeling the game will popular and many people are going to want to watch some new samurai films.

I remember when Red Dead Redemption came out in 2010 and that lead me down a path of westerns I had never seen like The Wild Bunch, The Great Silence, etc. What a great time.
