I tried Amazon twice and kept getting the original version, then I tried Target and got a yellow version. The pictures here showed a big yellow UPC sticker on the case but what I got was just a more toned down yellow on the back artwork. Like how the Star Trek movies were doing purple for updated versions with 4K codes instead of HDX.

I got this email from Paramount a couple of weeks back:

If not, please perform the requisite software updates. If assistance is needed in performing the updates, we are happy to help once the player make, and model is provided. Sincerely, Customer Service What does the make model of my Player have to do with anything in regard to missing dialogue? Also, I'm not willing to update any firmware (Again, what does that have to do with anything in regard to missing dialogue?) as I've read reports about updated firmware eliminating Multi-Region playback capability, which my SONY x700 4K player has! Frankly, I'm a bit confused. Any thoughts? CHEERS! |
