Wow, didn't know this was being made. I still get very sad thinking about the whole Bourdain thing. He honestly taught me so much about different countries, food, music, opening yourself up to other cultures, etc...

Happy for Matt Johnson. I think this'll be a good film.

Every once in a while, I'll talk about him to my sister as we both really loved his shows and books. It just doesn't make sense how it ended. Just so sad. Hoping they will do a nice job with this one. I believe it has to do with his life in the 70s when he was in the Provincetown, MA area

New B&N listing for Friendship is up. I loved the film in theaters, but it's definitely not for everyone.

Oh yeah, I should have mentioned that people should ignore their release dates as they're largely placeholders from what I've seen. These B&N listings are usually premature, and get taken down shortly. A24 should hopefully announce it in the upcoming months, and I'm guessing maybe a Late Summer / Early Fall release.

It arrived in my account overnight, after sending A24 customer service an email. I love the A24 club. I just wish they were better at keeping up with their delivery of the digital copies into customer accounts. 3 physical movies preordered, I've had to contact them all three times to add the digital copy.

I am still hoping that A24 puts out 4Ks of I Saw the TV Glow and the MaXXXine Trilogy. I'd buy both immediately.

Anyone have both the Canadian VVS and the new A24 disc of A Different Man and can compare the picture quality/encoding quality of the two? I already have the VVS disc and would like to know if it is worth getting the A24 for a picture upgrade.
