#Lectin-free the midnight meal | Wed. 19-20Feb.

In preparation for my mum (who has #schizophrenia) doctor’s appointment today, we indulged in a meal that was as nourishing as it was comforting. A vibrant veggie salad with cabbage, carrots, onions, frozen broccoli, okra, konjac, and canned herring, dressed in the timeless sanbaizu. Paired with Senba-jiru—mackerel, spinach, enoki mushrooms, and dried napa cabbage—and sweet potato, generously drizzled with perilla oil, all finished with a calming cup of Uji tea.
