v3.0.0: refactor for better timeout cycle
This major update will guarantee that all entrance, and exit animations are completed. i.e. The `speed` will affect the time between the end of the "in" animation, and the start of the "out" animation. External methods should remain the same. Technically, there are no breaking changes.
