The hterm.js version, which is the main dependency of the Shell app, hasn't been updated for a long time. It seems like the project made a new release last time over 3 years ago, with 1.92.1, according to the changelog over here: https://chromium.googlesource.com/apps/libapps/+/HEAD/hterm/docs/ChangeLog.md

It seems the changelog contains a nice list of fixes, so updating to it over 1.91 which is currently in use could be useful.

I did not find any indications that the project would be inactive, but it seems a bit worrying that there are no releases in many years. I wouldn't think that the project is feature complete due to the ever changing browser landscapes. Perhaps something to keep an eye on as OOD is quite dependent on this library for the Shell app.
