I am Omar. Currently, I am pursuing a PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of Florida 🐊. I have strong clinical and data science background.

Programming Languages 🧑‍💻

  • I use R, python and bash the most. For PMX scripting, I write in MLXTRAN and NMCTL

My research focus 🧪🔬

I’m currently working on empirical modeling methods, mainly on Population PK/PD and ML.

Previously I have worked on:

  1. Genomic data analysis to investigate potential molecular and cellular activities for cancer and obesity
  2. WSI histopathology pancreatic image segmentation and analysis
  3. MRI Bone image segmentation
  4. Developing clinical trial simulation tool for Duchene muscular dystrophy (DMD)
