Hello Alex and the Ice and Fire team,

First of all, thank you for creating one of the most incredible and immersive dragon mods in Minecraft. I’ve been playing for months and truly appreciate the work and effort that has gone into it.

I have a suggestion that I believe would take the mod to the next level — especially for players who like large-scale battles or want more control over their dragons.

My idea is to implement a dragon command system. For example, by pressing a key or opening a GUI, you could see a list of all your tamed dragons (with their names), and then choose actions such as:

  • Aggressive, Passive, or Neutral
  • Fire breath on/off
  • Follow, Stay, or Fly to a position
  • Attack a specific target
  • Come back to you

This would allow players to control multiple dragons at once, similar to how troops are managed in the Recruits mod or how RTS-style command systems work. It would be especially useful in large battles, like defending a kingdom or attacking enemy factions.

I think this would make the dragons feel more like true companions and part of a faction, rather than just individual mounts.

Thank you again for your amazing work. I hope you’ll consider this feature — I truly believe it would make Ice and Fire even more legendary.

Best regards,

Here is an example image of how it could look:
You see the names of the dragons like Black Dread, Nemesis, Cannibal, etc.
From here, you can select each dragon and give them commands such as:
• Aggressive
• Neutral
• Passive
• Breathe Fire
• Don’t Breathe Fire
• Come to Me
• Go Back to Position
• Follow Me
• Attack Target
