I have started working on a fix but due to personal reasons and the scope of the changes it took a while.

The main issue is that I can't call the helper functions in the frontend like I did before, but I'm confident I can get this working within the next week.

Took a bit longer, but there is a fix up for the new version.

There are two bugs that need to be fixed, but it can be used now.
I'm leafing the issue open until its fully working. Feedback is welcome.
